Postal Auction - James A Mackay's Philatelic Library

Following James's untimely death in September 2007, his family kindly passed  the contents of his Philatelic library to be disposed of how we saw fit.  After consultation amongst the societies of which James was a member, it was decided that the best course of action was to sell the books by auction  and the proceeds would be divided equally amongst those 5 societies.  Initially the auction will be restricted to members of those 5 societies  but after that auction , another postal auction will be held which is open to a wider audience.

Bids will only be accepted from members of the Caledonian Philatelic Society, Old Eastwood Stamp Club, Glasgow Philatelic Society, the Scottish Postal History Society and the Scottish Vikings.

Click here for a pdf file of the catalogue. This can be downloaded and saved to your pc. Bid form this should be printed off and used or email it using our contact email address.
